14.3 Pounds of Cuteness

We have had Stella a little over a week now and things have been so great! Our little girl is learning fast and we are learning right along with her. Since we brought her home, she has gained 3 pounds (whoa, food) and she is already housebroken. She also knows the command "sit" (which seems to always preceed a treat) and she loves to play fetch. The above picture shows Stella with her beloved "Monkey Baby," which is now a multiple amputee thanks to some sharp baby teeth. We are pretty sure she ate at least one of its arms.

We went to her first checkup today and the vet, Dr. Scott, said that he thinks she definitely has some St. Bernard in her. She was very patient and did great! She also got her first bath tonight. Scott will post pictures in the morning.
